Welcome to our site!

Hello readers!  My name is Lisa Reeh and I am a First Grade teacher at an Inner City Elementary School.  I have taught First Grade for two years and Kindergarten for three.  It was during my three years of experience teaching Kindergarten that I met Danielle.  (my fellow writer) Danielle was my teaching assistant and became my best friend shortly after getting to know her.  I truly believe that everyone has a twin.  We are literally two peas in a pod!  Danielle and I have created this blog in order to stay connected even with the miles between us.  Some of my favorite things include:  Starbucks, scrapbooking, cooking, and reading classic novels.  Danielle and I would like to thank you for taking time to look around our blog.  This sight means so much to our friendship and we are so excited to be able to share it with you!

Hey everyone! I am the second half of this blog, one of the writers and creators! Oh and by the way my name is Danielle! I am new to the blogging world, so bare with me when it comes to writing new entries and find things to post, but like they say “practice makes perfect”. Now I would like to keep this fairly short, but incase I end up rambling about some random unnecessary story I apologize ahead of time. =) I love love love all things old and vintage! The look and the feel of things that have been cherished by others before me is just indescribable. I am a coffee drinker, as much as I adore tea cups and teapots (so cute!) it is not my first, or for that matter, second choice when I am looking for a nice hot drink. That’s probably one of the few things different about Lisa and me. My favorite color is red, so most of the random thrift store or vintage items I will be posting will contain red. I love old keys. I don’t know why, I just do, and oddly enough I don’t have any… I have two crazy dogs who are skilled in the art of food hunting (one of them can actually UNZIP things!) Their hot commodity item (right now at least) is gum, if you leave it within their reach, they will claim it and leave you a nice pile of ripped packaging to clean up.  Other then shopping at thrift stores and vintage markets or drinking coffee and things that are red I enjoy reading! The possibilities are endless as long as you have a book by your side. If I ever had to be stuck some place for the rest of my life I would easily choose a bookstore or library. Now to keep the rest of this little excerpt from running on much longer here are 5 random facts you otherwise would not know about me =).

1.       I love mixed matched things. Spoons, dishes, etc. Coffee mugs the most though.

2.       Ghost stories scary me, however I had a weird fascination with them.

3.       I love taking pictures.

4.       14 is my lucky number (day I was born)

5.       I LOVE Chocolate

If you did by any chance make it to the end of this, I thank you for taking the time to visit our site and spend a little bit of time on us. I hope you enjoy the many things to come on our blog just as much as we enjoyed finding and sharing them!
